Pollard wedding attracts McClellands to CT

The wedding of cousin Tom Pollard to Adrienne Earl in Farmington, CT was the site of a McClelland—Pollard reunion of sorts. Steve made the flight with father Tom, brother Dan and his girl, Anna. Other west coast Macs who made the trip to witness the wedding were Jim and Lesley of San Diego and Joy and Anthony (Napolitano) of San Jose.
The bride and groom, who met on the internet, said their vows at a slightly chilly outdoor ceremony at the Tunxis Country Club. Groups of revelers at the reception were seen huddling around under the overhead heater vents.
The party soon heated up though as the dance floor filled and the champagne flowed. The wedding couple were seldom off the floor. Said Steve, “I don’t know where they got their energy. I was pooped just watching them.”
The couple honeymooned in Aruba a week after the ceremony.
Steve Meets Cousin David for First Time
The Pollard wedding was the first time—some say ever—that Steve met cousin David and his wife Linda. “David’s a tech-junkie like me,” said Steve, “We hit it off pretty well. And that Linda… what a dancer!”

Flower girl, Kirsten carried the upper half of grandma Becky’s body around for much of the celebration.
