The bad news: I pulled a muscle in my back on yesterday’s training ride, and I am racing today. The good news: it only hurts when I breathe. Staying positive, right?

Found a skunk this evening hiding under the outhouse in the backyard. It turned into a neighborhood ordeal as we chased it around the back yard. Eventually we shot it with a pellet gun. I feel guilty killing nature’s creatures, but I just couldn’t have it spraying Max again. Not nearly as glamorous as last week’s spring snare, but we got him just the same. Hopefully this will be the end of it for a while.
