Patrick had his hernia repair surgery early this morning. He went in seeming a bit nervous and then took a sip of zarsed (?) and proceeded to get loopy drunk. No problem there.

In 2005 when Todd Foster, Mark Foster, and Kirk Syme bought Royal Gorge, the largest cross-country ski area on the North American continent at 4000 acres, their plans to develop the area around our Serene Lakes cabin met with extreme anger from the community. Patrick and Emily took the over-development to heart and did their part to raise money to aid the fight against Foster and Syme.

If you’ve never played with Apple’s new Photo Booth software I highly recommend it. It’s guaranteed to bring a smile to your face as you distort your own image in live video. Acapulco is beautiful! Pulling into the bay with the high cliffs on both sides of the ship was breathtaking. If you have the means, I highly recommend it (Buehler.) Our stay here was brief, but fun-filled. We disembarked (I’m learning nautical terms) at about 1:30 p.m. After making the mistake of walking to the Royal Plaza Hotel (We were told it was about a mile and a half, but it turned out to be about 3 and a half,) we spent the afternoon relaxing on a padded beach “couch” (for lack of a better word) on a crowded but beautiful beach.
