I year ago today my sister’s and I were sitting by our loving dad’s side saying goodbye. I miss him so much and it is the small things. I miss his surprise visits to the house just ’cause, Sunday dinners, him whistling while he worked, him yelling at the guys to get back to work (all with love) and mostly his hugs that always made me feel protected and loved.
