Patrick once had his own little corner of the internets known as Patrick’s Place. Occasionally at McClellandfamily.com (stated as if we have a full-time staff of 10) we come across some of the gems that were published there. At one time we simply deleted old stories to make way for the new. Now we have the ability to save them forever…he said to Patrick’s first girlfriend. Muahahaha!

I used to interview the kids and then type up the story in their voice. As best we can tell, this interview was from 2006:

First-Grade is fun
I’m in first grade now. My teacher is very nice. She has yellow hair and bright skin. Today she gave me Otter Pops and I like them. When I first come into the classroom, I hang up my back back and then I do a lunch bug. That’s like a little white board that has bugs on with the kids names on it that we move to what kind of lunch we want; hot lunch or cold lunch.

On some weeks we have “fun Fridays” when we get to do fun things like eat and color and paint and stuff. We had a fun-Friday today!

New Soccer Team is Heck’a Fun
I’m on a new soccer teams now, and my dad’s the coach (again.) At last soccer practice I had to run a lot but that’s good because you get your excercising and that’s good for you. I had fun at practice too. We played pirates and another game too.

Things my Daddy doesn’t want me to forget:
Until I was four I pronounced the word chocolate as if it had 2 “L’s, like this: chlocolate.
